Maryland’s minimum wage will increase effective this Sunday, July 1, 2018. For employers in all counties except Prince George’s and Montgomery, the new minimum wage will be $10.10 per hour, up from the $9.25 that has been in effect since last year. The minimum wage for employers in Prince George’s County will hold steady at $11.50 per hour. While Montgomery County’s minimum wage will increase from $11.50 per hour to $12.25 per hour for employers with 51 or more employees and $12.00 per hour for employers with 50 or fewer employees.
