On Friday, April 10th, 2020, Governor Hogan signed an Emergency Order to permit the remote witnessing of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Advanced Directives. This Order allows for estate planning documents to be witnessed without requiring the witness to be physically present. During these uncertain times it is especially important to make sure your estate plan is in order, so contact the estate planning attorneys at Thomas & Libowitz, P.A. with your estate planning questions.
